Tic Chart

I am thinking of changing to Sierra Chart as my charting software.

Can antbody tell me if it will display a tic chart using data from IB?
if so how wil it be shown (each trade joined by a line, individual trades as dots, and will any volume data be available).

I can't test this in demo mode!

Whose demo, IB or Sierra? You can try Sierra with certain symbols, if you create an account (free) you get a week of full access.

The most detailed data is collected every 2 seconds I believe.

I think they are joined by lines for the ticks. I cannot see this at present as Sierra doesn't store tick data so it has to be realtime to display the charts.

For normal charts you can use Candles, Bar, PnF etc.

Volume data is available from IB.
