There's China who have " elected " Xi for life
Russia who have Putin for another 6 years and likely to be more.
The USA with Trump clearing the way for permanantcy too. He sacks any opposition so as to be able to produce pure trumpism. Sacking Mueller will stop those nasty investigations.

Where do you get this, Pat?? 2/3 of both houses of congress has to agree to abolish term limits for the president...way will that happen no matter which party is in power.

Also, the white house has been saying for nearly a year that the president has NOT been considering firing Mueller, despite the left continuing to push the fake news.

Trump will need to have some significant victories before he can demand further years in power after the second term. Besting Kim may be enough plus of course showing a better economy.

He has shown no mercy to anyone yet who is not praising him and sacks them. Mueller is much the biggest opponent so far. Can he get away with sacking him too before the results of his investigation come out ? Not without running considerable risks. Can he be bought or intimidated ? I hope not but the guy is only human.
Any news that doesn't show him in a good light is automatically dubbed fake news and lies from his opponents. At least he hasn't dropped so low as to murder his opponents, like some.
Downgrading the Joint Services Committee was an obvious starting point. Giving himself total control of the military. Corporal Hitler thought of himself as a military genius. Trump ducked the Vietnam War !
