Anyone who wishes to keep up to date should watch this video. Govts are always trying to find new ways to raise taxes.
Heaven forbid that they go the whole hog and try to close down the internet. The usual gang of North Korea, China, Russia etc. are the foremost culprits. Well the dark net is a clever way of brousing the net without pop up adverts and more importantly Govt interference.
Enjoy

It depends on the number of nodes serving the network to users, you can get metrics on Tor nodes to see what could be going on, might take a look myself.......

When the BBC is running its own onion sites, then that is almost like a disaster recovery scenario, the main internet goes down, but Tor nodes and onion services are still running albeit overloaded and slow and probably not useable anyway, technically it is still an operating internet/web service.

Radio Ham will become popular again along with morse.
