Just spent an hour browsing and bookmarking threads to come back to in depth. This is a genuine goldmine. Truly awesome.

There are so many threads I want to pick up on, but a couple of things stop me. Advice appreciated.

Some of the threads terminate somewhat abruptly and did so some time back - does it make sense to respond to them now or to start a new thread?

A large number of the posters who were very active on this forum back then seem to have stopped posting anywhere on the site. Are they still around, PMable, emailable or moved on?

Some key thoughts and ideas I'd like to develop more fully.
