I would be grateful for some information.

It is most urgent.

I am told there is a link between one of the members here, and a substantial private fund. I wish to contact this member but have limited information.

The name or part name of this member is:

The_Texan or Texas_Trader.

Can anybody help?

Thank You
tm.appleby

Nobody here by that name or anything at all like it.

Suggest you ask the person who gave you the link for further information.

Mind you, if you hang around, I'm sure quite soon, somebody else who joined today will be along to assist.

Oh, and the 'substantial private fund' would have been a quite pointless piece of information if you were simply trying to identify such a member. In fact, that's the last thing you'd want to mention.

Unless...

Your reply is neither helpful nor respectful.

You will go far with that attitude. Of that, I am sure.

Be sure to publicly thank the person who privately PMs you with the information you are looking for.

i have some links but then i could be just full of BS just like you.

what is your interest ?
what do you have to offer ?

having a reputation goes a long way.

It appears I have wasted my time here.

Thank you all.

This "Forum" is indeed a credit to the investment community. The comments and helpfulness of its members is exemplary.

If at some point in the future, I feel compelled to be indirectly insulted, I shall without hesitation return to this place.

The Bramble. From reading through a number of your contributions to this Forum I can only conclude your knowledge of investments is somewhat diluted, your manners appalling and your understanding of things financial to be lightweight.

ColinRiche. My interest is simply financial greed. I offer nothing, only to invest in a fund which I hear is performing well. This being a source at SC (HK) and is only third party but reliable. It seems my search is somewhat unexpectedly ended. Unless, you do genuinely have some knowledge of the whereabouts or identity of this person.

And you've done that ALL since joining yesterday? You must be able to read as fast as one of your other nicks types...

And thanks for dropping in. See you over on your other thread soon....

Almost forgot.

Is it CM or TM Appleby.

That's the thing with having lots of names. You have to work hard to remember 'em all.

Just one thing.

What is,or are"nicks"
What other thread?

I think you may have a deep problem.

Well TM?CM?QMQT? - if you don't know what nicks are why would you imagine I have a problem? And why are you lurking around this thread if your business is done?

Byeeee

OH dear, you do indeed have a problem.

It is TM ( a typo) You know all about typo's I see from your postings, or is it you just find it difficult to spell.

OK. You've beaten me with your wry wit and tenacity.

My posts were just a test of course. To make sure only those truly worthy, only those with the correct attitude, merit and conduct have access to that secret information that all men seek. And now you have found yourself on the path. I can help you.

You are of course seeking, none other than, "Cornish Thatch".

I've already said too much and must now go, never to return to this thread. So, you can say whatever you like and I wont know. tee hee.

On the other hand, if you do respond, everyone will know you are who they think you are and not who you would have liked them to think you were.

Deep problems? Jesus! You don't know the half of it. I frighten myself sometimes, and I know what's coming next (mostly!!!).

Hey Mr Appleby still here?. It is scarcely beyond the powers of anyone that has been a member of this site for more than an hour to have notice the button labelled 'Community' at the top right of this and every page and found the link to 'Member List'. There anyone who knows their alphabet (T comes after R and S Mr appleby, try page 21 to anyone else who can be bothered, yawn) will find a couple of suspiciously close names as candidates for your search.

Personally I can't wait to send them most of my dosh to manage..('It is most urgent' sic! lol).. Like you, the barest bit of information about their activities (but not actual contact information, name or address or phone) satisfies me entirely that this will solve all my investment problems. Thank you so much for the info I will go and pm them immediately. I'm sure you are an up-front kind of guy and that this is in now way a scam at all at all.

What is it here, with all the cloak and dagger shenanigans?

Is there something I should know?

I am simply trying to obtain some information to be able to make further inquiries.

Have you all at some point in time been swindled and on a regular basis?

How many members is this Forum actually have? I know it advertises 53,000 or so. I have not seen many more than 130 at any one time, most of which are the same group of members. I was under the impression (from an advert) here would be 50,000 helpful people, and in reality there seems to be about 30 or so unhelpful individuals.

I'll take your word for it about the strimmer. As you probably have to do your own gardening.

Good going there Peto! You are quite correct, George Ballas did invent the strimmer due to an embarrassing personal problem. If anybody personifies the phrase necessity is the mother of all invention then he is the guy.
