I'm due to do a Technology internship with a bulge bracket this summer. If I like the look of trading for a bank as much as I did for myself a year ago, and perform well in the Internship...

- Is it feasible to suggest to my Bank that I would like to do Trading (either Trading itself, or Sales) and is moving from back to front office a realistic goal?
- If my Internship involves working on Trading technology that's a plus, but if not, is there anything I can do to show an aptitude for Trading work?
- Does anyone here have a reason why Trading for a firm would not be an attractive idea, and maybe Technology is a better option? Note: I am educated in Business & Technology, but am much much more interested in the Business side.
