Sandy,

Many thanks for running it! I really enjoyed it, and sorry to you and all the others for rushing off like that, I would have really liked to stay to the end and share a few beers with you all!

TA in a Nutshell

We will be running a ‘TA in a Nutshell’ day course on Saturday, 24 April 2004 at Wyboston Lakes Conference Centre.

The course is designed to give traders, investors (or anyone with corporate or client fiscal responsibilities), the basic tools of Technical Analysis. Enabling delegates to recognise trends, chart patterns, targets, entry and exit points for any traded equity, currency or derivative product.

The day is broken down as follows:

09:00 – 09:30 Meet and coffee
09:30 – 10:45 The basic tenets of TA, TA vs. FA, types of charts
10:45 – 11:00 Coffee
11:45 – 12:30 Trend, support and resistance
12:30 – 13:00 Hands-on charting
13:00 – 13:45 Lunch
13:45 – 14:30 Reversal patterns
14:30 – 15:15 Continuation patterns
15:15 – 15:30 Coffee
15:30 – 16:30 Hands-on charting
16:30 – 17:00 Wash-up and questions
17:00 Official finish – retire to the bar!

It is a full day however, delegates should leave with the ability to understand the interaction of trend, support and resistance levels as presented by the charts and to be able to construct trade plans around those levels.

The cost of the course includes:

A full day of basic TA Training
Course handbook and course materials
Lunch and coffee

Anyone with dietary needs can be catered for, the site is wheelchair friendly, although we would need to know on booking so that we can ensure that the course is not allocated an upstairs room.

The basic cost is £195.00 per delegate; bed and breakfast overnight accommodation can be booked at a rate of £47.85 per night.

To run the course effectively we need a minimum of 10 delegates, with a maximum of 20 to ensure that everyone gets to ask any questions they have.
