Taxation advice needed

I traded spot fx and made a bundle, only to lose the majority in spreadbetting stocks. It seems pretty harsh that I will be out of pocket should I pay taxes on the fx trading, any advice welcome, appreciated

Unless you are non-domiciled, that is awkward and unfortunate. Can't see an easy way out of that one.
