That's good news.

However I have been getting reports of pages not loading with a database error, it happens very rarely, but with the amount of traffic we get this soons starts to mount up.

Anway, I'm currently investigating the problem - which if you refresh the page (it then works fine).

Oh dear, more problems... we may have to revert back to the old database for now.

The site could be unstable for the next 30 to 60 mins. Apologies for the disruption to the normal service. We may have to close the site for about 15 mins in order to switch back.

Well we're now back up.

We've had to revert to the old setup, so although members may find it slightly slower - at least they shouldn't encouter any more problems with the site.

We'll be investigating the problem and looking to upgrade the database server again early next week.
