t-bond futures

Hi...
I'm interested in trading t-bond futures with price-action. I'm also interested in learning more about the "wild card play", how the mechanics work, and what the downside is. Any info or direction on these subjects would be most appreciated.

I would suggest reading:
Trading STIR Futures: An Introduction to Short-term Interest Rate Futures by Stephen Aikin

Also a note:
The biggest bond trading companies (i.e Investment Banks) are not in business anymore
Bear Stearns was bought by JP Morgan
LehmanBros has collapsed

One of the best books I've ever seen on the Treasury bond market is The Bond Market by Christina Ray, if you can find a copy.

That will be fine:

Trading hours (UK)
06:00 -07:00 preparation
07:00 Bund opens
16:00 After 16 not alot of liquidity

7-17:00 should be alright
