Standard Lots Costs

Hi,

Can any experience forex trader tell me whats the cost of a standard lot generally? Is it always £1000 you need to invest to get started or is started with a mini lot better just the test to see if the system works before putting the more money in?

There is no "cost" here. Standard lot indicates the size, which is 100,000 units. Your required margin posting will depend on your permissible leverage.
