Spiriton Media Group

Sorry the statement of capital also lists all the shareholders. Its the same list of nominee accounts we saw some time ago, there are no individuals named.

Hi Anley

Well just to update you all;

The accounts are still to be filed with CH, when that will be... who knows?

SOM have signed letters to agree the much needed investment from an investment bank and due diligence is taking place.

So to put all that 'news' in plain English - MORE TALK AND NO ACTION.

Same story we've all heard for so long now. So here's a prediction for you all -

Come late December this will be the news from the company -

Still waiting for the accounts, no dount due to a 'technical issue', and
The management are still in 'talks' with their 'investment banks' but they look very promising.

And poor old Mugs will then say - Hold on everyone, I still have faith because something will be released soon :)

Hi ANLEY

I think you have me down as an eternal optimist? What SOM say and what I believe are two totally different things.

What you have said is the story so far and I see no reason for it to actually change.....
If SOM are to be believed we will all have our shares by early 2011 or sooner and the ever reported funding in place even sooner!!! Make of that what you wish, and this as well, that this forum is now being discounted as a cause for concern by SOM as investors are doing their own due diligence on SOM and seeing the company for its real potential!!! Their words, paraphrased, not mine!!!

Hey if I see my money again it will pay for my extension, if not, I'll have to work hard!!!

Cheers

can´t understand why there are still people who trust SOM.
My opinion is : Don´t give SOMe Money
Have completed my investigations about the german address in Windhag 7. At this Address there lives only Mr. Breuer. A German bailiff has also find this out. The Address is well known from bailiffs. no other company is there. no plate, no bell - nothing there, schaar or falkenhahn or any companies not reachable there.
Not worth to say more. you´d better go to a casino. you will earn more money there.
listen (and thanks to) to pboyles, mugsgame... this people seems to be really critical of SOM
end and bye from my side :)

Hi JIMKNOB

Thanks for the information.
Can I just ask, did Mr Breuer have a first name of Frank by any chance?
I'm pretty sure that no more money will be invested from anyone who reads this forum?

A caveat to this is, if an investor has the financial backing for which SOM is looking for they would have access to far more information than is available to the Investors reading this forum, thus making Due Diligence an option and then a formulative investment plan drawn up should they wish to proceed with their investment!
I say this simply because we do have all the information to hand and while all pointers do seem to point to SOM being a scam, there could very well be a legitimate business at the core of all this.
But to be honest it has not shown itself to me as yet and I am in a position to prudent where my investment is concerned, others are not so, and some are so deep, the thought of SOM not being legitimate is a thought that they cannot even entertain.

Should SOM fail to make any kind of return then I can see a number of peoples lives being in ruins because of the Scammers who persuaded them to invest more and more money they didn't have in SOM.
I was told at the beginning of my investment to 'Go out and rob the local McDonalds' to get more money to invest in this 'Sure fire company' and the continued pushes for subsequent investment only help the Scam theory, and the recent 'Pump & Dump' valuation of the shares is another. All told SOM doesn't look great, however without fully understand the whole situation we the individual investors cannot possibly say and so we can only go on the continued updates from IR & the Directors.
As I posted before I know which side of the fence I'm sitting, should the information be made available that changes this, I will gladly let you know.

Thanks

Mugs

PS a funny quirk of the spell check just asked if 'Scammers' should equal 'Scummers'?? I'll leave that up to you.

others are not so, and some are so deep, the thought of SOM not being legitimate is a thought that they cannot even entertain.
.

I think you hit the nail on the head, that is exactly why some people will refuse to look at the facts for themselves and it is, sadly, why some of them will give even more money to these type of scams once they are in too deep.

Excuse me Mugs but how can you be asking the question 'there could well be a legit business at the core of all of this'.

Surely when you first (and foolishly) invested you did so because of a solid business.

But now it seems you're indicating to us that you haven't actually got a clue so in reality you didn't do any research at all into what you were buying.

Can I therefore try to offer you some advice for the future -

Never invest a single penny ever again in the stockmarket or any other investment as you have not got a clue as to what you're doing. Instead, put all your money into cash savings account where yes you won't make much but far more importantly your capital will stay intact.

Just being cruel to be kind, trying to stop you being taken advantage of again.

Hi ANLEY

At the core of SOM is a business, what type of business that is we do not know! All we, the investors and forum readers, know is that SOM runs a number of interests for companies listed out of a single address in Germany and some which are linked to a farm in England. To blunt all businesses have to start somewhere, they all can't have gleaming offices in the centre of a thriving city/town centre.
Going back to the business angle....
Can you prove to me 100% that SOM is a scam? NO,
Can I prove to you that SOM is 100% legit? NO,
So all we have is conjuncture where a number of pointers seem to highlight this being a scam, but the only people who know the truth are the SOM directors.
One of my own indicators for SOM being a scam was what would happen at the meeting and/or soon after, as yet this indicator has not been triggered. What is this said indicator.... well as soon as SOM trigger it I will let you know, that is if they trigger it.

Just for the record, I invested in SOM as a friend of mine had done so as well, I did do a little investigation at the time, which I have stated previously on this forum and which included contacting the marketing department of 888.com, however I do admit I should have been more thorough with my investigations, however as my friend had made some very good investments I took his word as read. Yes, I can hear your screams from here.

As for not having a clue... well yes you could be right, but once bitten twice shy as the saying goes. So no-one will be getting a penny of my hard earned cash until I have done my own due diligence in future.

Nobody has all the answers and I'm sure you have invested in a turkey somewhere along the line. The jury is still out on SOM, and probably always will be until CH dissolve it or SOM come clean and say sorry guys we've gone bust your money's gone and were off to retire in the Caribbean. Until then the light at the end of the tunnel is being turned out to save the company electric bill.

Cheers

There are three elements present in every share scam. First the shares will be pink sheets or on the Frankfurt OTC market or similar. Secondly the company will claim to own tens of millions in assets whether it be gold mines or tv stations. Finally a bit of digging reveals their corporate office is a farm in Sussex, a bungalow in Australia, a house in Germany or a shop in Holland.

So whilst every company has to start somewhere the combination of claiming to owns millions in assets whilst running a media company from somebodies house is a major indicator of a scam. That without all the other indicators eg no shares after three or four years.

did anyone to fail charges again the company or his broker ?

I doubt it, there was no broker, it was a boiler room scam that has since disappeared. At the minute people are still hoping that SOM itself isn't a scam so I doubt there will be much action until the penny finally drops.

...and sadly some of them have probably fallen for SOMs recent request for more 'investment' so they can pay to file their accounts. I think a lot of people will be devastated when this finally blows up.

Hi PBOYLES

When was this? I haven't been asked to invest any more money?????? Are SOM targeting certain investors then?
