I have some shares in an ASX Australian company that I wish to sell. I live in New Zealand, but I have a UK Bank Account that I would want the proceeds of the sale to go into.
Can anyone tell me how I go about selling them and receiving the proceeds in sterling into my UK Bank Account. I currently receive dividends in sterling, which are paid direct to that bank account. However Link Marketing Services in Australia, who deal with this have stated that if I sell the shares through them I must have an Australian Bank Account for direct credit or a cheque will be issued in Aussie Dollars.
Any advice would be appreciated by this share dealing novice.
