Hi,
The next step in the Stalking file (after determining overall market conditions) is to determine sector trends. This is my read on the sector trends as defined by bigcharts.com. db has a Sectors & Groups file that lists the ETF's that go with the groups. bigcharts has apparently changed some of their groupings since db's capture of this info, but hopefully I've matched them up good enough.
The charts/trends can be viewed at bigcharts.com. I'm being purposely skimpy on details here, since I'm not that good yet at interpreting everything that price/volume might tell. btw volume is available only when posting ETF's, so if anyone knows a good ETF for Telecom, please respond with the symbol.
Most of my focus was on trends that are a year or less old. There were also some older downtrends & uptrends that haven't been invalidated, so these and older s/r also bear watching as the newer trends continue.
Regards,
CF
