reuters news text to speech

Is there any software which will convert Reuters news and figures into speech?

I just think having a computer read out the news would reduce human errors, especially when it comes to reading out figures..

Chrischeung, not what you're asking for — listen to the audiofeed available for free from the CNBC Europe website, the TV feed without the pictures — currently Greenspan's testimony. The benefit to non-European traders is that you also get European data releases in real-time.

thanks for your input.

We have Bloomberg and CNBC Tv, but the quickest news comes out on Reuters, and Bloomberg scrolling news headlines.

Hi Chris, Bloomie has a speech option on the major figs, nfp, cpi etc but we have found it slow. We use Sigma Squawk. http://www.sigma-derivatives.com/squawk.php. They usually give a free trial for 2 weeks. I have a friend who trades through their London office, he can get the trial set up for four weeks. Let me know if you want his number.
