Hi all,
im a bund trader for a prop firm
im no begginer but not an absolute pro, so my Q is this:

if you could recommend just one book that will make one a better trader which one is it?
which book is the one you can't afford not to read?

Has to be Reminiscences of a Stock Operator,read it three time and I get something different every time.Has anyone got a copy of "Street Smart" by Linda Bradford Raschke they would like to sell me?

I would say "Trade Your Way To Financial Freedom" by Van Tharp.

For me, this book focuses on all the truly important aspects of trading.

Liers Poker, Preditors Ball, Running Money, Ugly American, In the House of Money, *When Genuis Failed* often refered to a the greatest book written about Markets.

Now Im looking to add BUNDS to my trading portfolio...wondering if you could give me jump start. Strategies, Models , Indicators other....please be as specific as possible.

basically, which ever trading strategy that fits you can be used to trade BUDNS,
I myself trade intraday large price movements (more than 10 ticks). I use daily hourly and 10 minutes charts along with a certain stochastic parameters. besides that it is real important to have some news data source (I trade for a prop firm and we have Reuters, CQG and a Squackbox). another tip (however not a cheap one), I use Gann analysis made by Juliette Clark (Gann Corner) from time to time - it helps me the most when I'm out of sync with the market..

I second that; if you want indicators, then I strongly suggest "Technical Traders Guide to Computer Analysis on the Futures Markets" by Charles LeBeau and David W. Lucas - my favourite is Chapter 3 on system testing.
Also, it is mentioned several times in Van Tharp's book.

Key to trading is psychology and your mindset, no matter even if someone gives you a secret or Insider information, but you will still fail if you do not have mental fitness! One of the best book I have ever read is " Mastering the Trade", by John Carter - strongly recommended.

I did not see that. But if it has anything to do with original 'turtles' than I am not sure if it is the best position for forex markets. They are a bit different than commodities where big trends occur.
