Reclaim setups journal — rules stated up front, all outcomes kept visible

Keeping a journal here for one FX setup: price moves through a prior price area, followed by price reclaiming back through that area, before I flag anything. A flagged setup is `P4 CONFIRMED - WAIT FOR P5. P4 IS NOT AN ENTRY.` — confirmation is P5, the point where the reclaim actually completes, not the first flag. If P5 never forms before the window closes, that's logged here as `BURNED - NO TRIGGER, NO TRADE`, kept visible either way. No entries, stops, or position sizing posted — that's each trader's own decision. How do the technical-analysis regulars here usually time a confirmation like this versus acting on the early signal alone?

XAUUSD M5 bearish reclaim setup — delayed publication

This setup was originally confirmed at 2026-08-24 07:55 UTC. The completed P4 bar closed at 07:50 UTC. P4 is an advance preview, not an entry, and P5 had not formed at confirmation.

The state is therefore WAITING_FOR_P5. I will only treat it as a valid trigger if a completed P5 forms. If the structure invalidates first or P5 never forms, it will be recorded as a burned setup rather than forced into a trade.

The evidence is frozen at the P4 cutoff and contains no future bars. Later P5, burn/invalidation, and 48-bar results will be added as follow-up replies without rewriting this initial record.
