I tried listening to this, but for some reason it never worked.

I really dont see a need/point for a trader to want to listen to this type of stuff anyway. Just trade what you see on the chart, Not what you think should happen as a result of what some micro-chipped politician has had to say.
 
i don't think so. the research they send and info they provide is worth more than 300 to me.
 
If its worth it to you then great. For my style it would make no difference.

fair enough but if you get run over on some macro news (eg trichet says something about buying govvie bonds) do you not want to know why or if it will be a short term spike whenyou get your offer lifted and are 3 handles offside.....? not being a w@nker-just genuinely interested
 
Don't get me wrong I can see the benefits of having a service like ransquawk. But for me I don't see it as necessary to know why something happened/is happening. If iv read it right and there happens to be a spike due to news, then I will be thinking of taking some/all profit, if iv read it wrong I will be stopped out and looking for the next setup. If I get taken out by a spike due to news then I see that as just the cost of trading how I do. P.s Your far too polite to be a w@nker.
