PSU ...is it ok?

ok i have a 400w PSU

i currently run

Intel Pentium D920 OC'ed @ 3.0Ghz
2Gb DDR2 667Mhz RAM
500Gb SATA HDD
ATi HD 2600 Pro OC'ed
2 X High Perf. LED Fans 12Cm
DVD-RW and DVD-ROM

the temps are ok at the moment

another 500Gb SATA HDD and
1 X 12cm LED fan
1 X 8Cm LED fan

or would i need a bigger PSU and what wattage?

You could try the "eXtreme Power Supply Calculator", not sure how accurate it is but will give a guide I'm sure.

I put in the info you provided and it came up with a load of 259w, well inside 400w

that psu should provide plently of power for those specs. When you start adding more GPU's is when power becomes an issues.

i might still get a 500w as i can fell that sometimes the PSU gets a bit warm

Get a better PSU fan then.

it has a 12cm rfan in the botom of it

but i am going to get one that has a 12cm and then a 8cm (i think) at the rear
