I think Oanda pay interest on client accounts so perhaps that explains why their numbers are so impressive.

Also dont oanda have the tighest fx spreads?

A trader making 10 trades a day at 25 pounds per pip, makes an extra 5K a month for every pip saved in spread.

I don't think I'm being unkind DD when I suggest that very few traders using OANDA trade anything like £25/pip.
