  1. Those who want something from you, those who found you and not the other way around, have nothing to teach you, they can’t make you profitable. The opposite is true.
  2. Stop following rules. All the rules you know come from those who are not profitable themselves. Profitable traders don’t share their rules. Only the basics is correct. All the rest is fake. When you are exposed to it all online - you are the product.

I always wonder about those who call themselves trading gurus, if they’re truly making money from trading, why spend their time teaching instead?

Exactly! Including all the youtube channels, websites etc.

Last week, I attended an event where a company was trying to sell courses.
I noticed that most of the people there were 55+ and even the success stories they showed on screen were mostly from people in that age group.

It looks like they’re now targeting the older generation.

Do you have a professional trading account?
I’m not trying to sell anything or scam you.

I’ve received an offer from my broker((city index)would you be interested in hearing about it?
I’ve posted it on Reddit and X, but people assume it’s a scam, so it’s been difficult to explain.

Yes, I have two accounts currently. What offer is that?

They’re offering a £10,000 bonus for both me and the new client in the form of spread-cost reimbursement. I’ve been trading with them for the past ten years.

I receive an offer every year, but it’s usually around £1,000, so I’ve always ignored it. This year, however, they’ve offered £10,000. I’ve attached the email along with the terms and conditions.

Let me know your thoughts.

Sorry, I’ve sent the attachments to your inbox as they contain personal information.
