Nothing wrong with a bit o gut feeling!

To my eyes, might be worth a stab long round 107.10 or so. Mental stop under previous low with disaster avoidence at 106.10. Target wise 109 would be legitimate!

But! theres a whole lota south goin on in the dailys!
 
Sooo... todays call, bit of a shocker! And i'll thank Dante for making my failure public by deciding to create a new thread (couldn't have just posted in an existing thread could ya mate.) However, as it is here I wouldn't mind getting it active where we can perhaps all make calls and laugh at each others failures. So to that note I was wondering what everyone thought of GBP/USD...Good long term buy?
Be great to get some opinion and and hopefully look forward to sharing ideas.

I don't think that was such a bad call. It was +11 at one point and since it was made late in the day then a stop would (perhaps should) have been put at breakeven meaning that it wouldn't have even been a loss.

It will take a whole lot of effort to make a worse call than my suggestion to short Gold at $871.

As far as Cable, we're ranging right now. I'm neutral on this market.

Yeah was bad! But we ALL do it from time to time!🙂.. But theres good side it was you got out quick enough!. -18 or so inc costs.

Heres how it looks on my radar atm. Your entry is the blue dot. My tic suggestion is shown is the green dot, (currently -25 i might add😎).. The smalls are still pointing down! )

The pair has been slooowly trending up overall for 4 weeks or but when you zoom out!😱
A declining channel is also evident in the main channel which is inline with the daily direction!! I havent been watching this one id say attempts would be better placed short near the top o that than any longs atm.

Think a bottom may well be in atm but ive found reading cable pretty tough going last couple o weeks, up down up down. Missed the last leg up much to my disgust!:|.. If its the real deal should be plenty o time to grab a position tho.. What you mean by long term!?

my setup says punt long anywhere round this time gbpjpy , stop 210.95 odd.

i did eyeball a longer term chart for gbp jpy and could see 216.00 , next 3 little ducks @ 222.00 odd..... bit far out timewise for me but lines in the sand maybe for longer term traders perhaps ?
 
anyone fancy a punt selling gbpjpy 211.00 odd anywhere round here will do ... hmmm stopwise ,bit tricky as its a setup timething, but stick a round 100 on. needs to brutalise 210.00 what ? hope that aint the launch pad higher though else one might feel more thrust than flash gordon stoppin over at a brighton B n B.
