I am a newbie who has a demo account with paddy power trader. They seem ok but I have nothing to compare them too - has anyone used them before?

There are more than a dozen of financial spread betting brokers. Some of them are good and some of them are not.
And I totally agree with you that you need to compare the brokers to choose the best one.

You can try IG, Capital Spreads, CityIndex, etc.

i've used paddypowers live account, its ok but a bit basic, the platform isnt great to use, constantly having to click between screens. it makes trading a bit hit and miss i find.

i use igindex now and the difference is night and day
