Oanda's the only fx broker i know of that has subminute charts
Oanda's spread is usually fixed at .9 pip, starting at London open - midnight pst ? and
remains there until noon ? pst rising to 1.2 - 1.5 pips, but it can and does widen depending
on market activity, news releases
it's well known they increase the spread to the maximum during major releases and fast
markets, 10 pips for the eurusd
today at 5:25 am pst spread was 1.8 , 2.5 at 5:28 , 10 at 8:30 , 2.5 at 5:31 , 1.5 at 5:36currently at 6:21 it's .9
the Alpari NY MT4 demo kept up without freezing during the release, don't know what the
spread was, Alpari go to 5 decimal places - 1.43849
fx can be traded with the NinjaTrader program using GAIN Capital/FOREX feed but don't
know if that feed provides for subminute or tick etc charts
