I am 20 years old but with 3 years experience in a stockbroking firm where I have just started to get my own clients. I have started to think that I would prefer to go into trading and that it is better to do it now than in a few years when I have built up more books. I currently have SII Certificate in Securities and CII Certificate in Financial Planning (but no A-Levels/Degree). I would be willing to get other exams ASAP (e.g. Certificate in Derivatives). Do you think I will find many willing recruiters/learned teachers out there for me? I'm worried that the lack of degree might prove to be a barrier. Obviously, I’m prepared to start at the bottom if I think I have the opportunity learn a lot and can see a clear route to being a trader... and lets not kid ourselves, make some dosh.
