NinjaTrader

I cant get anywhere with them, I want a set up that will enable me to (Scale in)... buy 2 lots then buy a further 2 lots . I would then like to (scale out) of my postion, by selling 2 lots and the further 2 lots as the market goes my favour. I would alos like my stop moved to break-even once I sold my first 2lots profit.

Sent them an email still waiting for the second reply as the first reply told me I need programing experience, that I do not have. I have asked them if they could help me set it up, still waiting.....If anyone else know any other software than allows this, please let me know

Having spent some time playing about with ninjatrader6 for forex trading woth ther free forex.com datafeed, i have to say i am not impressed!

Problems include -
Getting certain ccy pair charts to load.
Getting more than 4 charts to load at one time
Getting charts to refresh/update after a few days of non-use, without having to close that chart & open a new chart from afresh.

Although the NT6 platform does appear pretty sophisticated at first sight, to me it looks like more trouble than its worth (WITH THE FREE FOREX.COM DF at least), as there are problems just below the surface.

Try bracket trader, it's a bit less fussy than button trader.

As for Ninja Trader, I'm sure they've got enough voluntary Beta testers already!

Nt 6

I use Ninja for trading the felton trading method on U.S. futures indexes and the DAX, and I am not having any problems (through Spike Trading in Chicago). I like NT6...so far so good (plus all my felton trading indicators may be added to the free NT charts soon too....that would be great!).

Funny, the guys pushing "buttontrader" and "brackettrader" is ok though (while ditching NT)...LOL!

I have been using NT for almost two years now for all of my discretionary trading but I do use XTrader 7 for my two automated systems...I just happen to think NT6 is a good improvement over the previous version (I like the additional charting features most).
