Nikkei 225 BELOW !!! Dow Jones

1990 the Nikkei 225 hit its all-time-high at 38k and “change” …

the Dow Jones was trading at around 3k only …

Today, the Nikkei fell BELOW the DOW … trading only a bit above 8k …

So … another example, that EVERYTHING is possible.


Now the media is worried enough to let the EUROPEAN AND ASIAN coverage of the events run in the USA!!!

CNBC does the "war-time-CNN" in the financial turmoil now.

Nuts, isn't it. A good move on the S&P 18 months ago was 10 - 15 points, an average move was around 7 points.

True, me too. I can't help thinking it all had to happen (this decline) and I am somewhat glad it has. The utter madness of the last 10 (last 5 especially) years had to end sooner or later and unfortunately later is always worse. Society normally gets what it deserves. It makes me think I should take this Global warming thing more seriously....

Italian Stock Exchange has just been suspended. I wouldn't be surprised to see more Exchanges close if stocks continue down - just like they did for a few days after 9/11 and also in earlier years. The panic will be halted - no matter what measures have to be taken.
