Im wondering, could anyone point out a good source for past major news realease's data.
If there are any database for it though- i did a brief search and didnt come up with anything useful.

Onurene, the following site provides data/charts of primarily US economic releases:
http://mam.econoday.com/calendar/US/EN/New_York/year/2006/month/07/day/31/daily/index.html

To view past data, on current page, click the month you're interested in, then go to the address line and change the year, tho I'm not sure how far back you can go.

Another site having US data is:
http://www.economagic.com/

For European and elsewhere you may need to do country/government specific searches.
Please post any relevant sites you find.
