New strategy builder from ActForex

Four or 5 months ago GCI Trading introduced the new ActForex strategy builder to their ICTS-WinTrader charting platform. Building strategies that act like robots is fairly easy for anybody with a touch of programming experience.

The strategy builder manual is at http://help.sysfx.com/documents/traders_manual/10.4/en_US/index.html?strategies_manual.htm . The strategy building part is in the left navigation, called, "Algorithmic Trading."

Several brokers offer ICTS-WinTrader with the ActForex strategy builder in their demos and historical data testing.

Hi Plat, I have already used the ActFX language. There is a website actfx.com - I found it recently. Perhaps it will be useful.

This is quite an old thread - our platform 'Lion Trader' uses this technology. ActFX now have strategies that you can download onto your platform. What would be fantastic is to see more Robots etc being programmed in their language. If anyone knows programmers or strats/bots that work please post. At least it would provide an alternative to MT4.
