need help with metatrader indicator

hi, i am testing a method to trade intraday charts....(1 up to 30 min charts) based on 4 hour charts (hence the rectangles you will see in charts). i have an indicator....yes, an indicator...me :cheesy:

basically the indicator i have draws rectangles (only 2 unfortunately) on a time range i can customise. looking around i have found one that suits my needs, but is not capturing the highs-lows i need to get.

wonder if someone can help and either fix-create what i need (obviously, if not a big hassle) or tell me i am crazy.

OK, i guess the best thing is to describe with a couple of charts

chart 1 is my indicator and my need.

chart 2 is the indicator i found to solve it....(basically someone played with the same indicator, but kind of failed.) wonder if someone can have a look and see if it can be done or not.

Hi J,

try this indicator it gives you 3 time periods to highlight.

I dont suppose there is any reason you cant load it twice and get 6 periods.

thanks ian, big step forward for me. really appreciate it.

however, no, cant load 2 times. already tried with the original indicator with 2 rectangles (i-paramonworktime is the indicator i use).....still need 3 more rectangles and to go and will have my intraday method working .....one chart to show moreless the aim :cheesy: look at the pullbacks :cheesy:

yours is in the same format as mine so assume have the same origin. funny, when second indicator loaded, it overruns the first. (same thing happened with another indicator i have that gives hi-lo of day, week, etc. just erases the indicator i use)

perfect, just learned that

i-paramounworktime loaded 2 times dont work. i-session loaded 2 times dont work.

but.... i-paramounwortime + i-session work together ...so now got myself 5 4hr rectangles

and it means i can trade 4 hour charts, on 1-60 min bars, customisable whenever i want :cheesy:

and support resistance analysis ready made :cheesy:

basically setup ready for testing.......
