Need help for Forex Trading

Hi,

I am a software developer and for part time earning I am eager to learn forex trading and want to invest.I am from india and before investing I want to make sure whether indians are allowed to invest in forex trading or not.I have searched on google and many people have posted on forum that RBI does not allow people in India to trade on forex and some people say there are no rules still imposed on forex trading.So there is a mixed review.So I want to confirm from any experts whether it is allowable in india or not.
