Yesterday showed yet again how important the 10 and 2 pm time frames should be viewed on the Nasdaq market. No t/a indicator would help you if bad economic news hits the market only your level 2 screen with nimble direct access trading skills will allow you to exit your position or get in short.

However i believe charts are very good at looking for certain set ups before one might go to your level 2 secreen to trade it.Is there something brewing in the Nasdaq biotech index for instance?

Take MLNM,if it attacks $20 today i sure as well dont need any intraday chart to let me know that it could break through this decade number. All i want to see is the reality on my level 2 screen, who's buying or selling what are the leading market makers doing.could it break through or are we going to fake all those people out there who cant see what is truly going on and then slam the stock down?
I dont care but i know four market makers that do and i'll be following their antics on my screen. What ever their intentions i'll see it in the blink of an eye and i'll ride the wave with them.Maybe later i'll check it out on a chart and see how everyone else saw the move. Then again maybe it'll be one big yawn.Who knows, but at least the daily chart found me the set up in the first place.
