"The market is never wrong", but remember the market cannot exist if it only goes up and vice versa.
If current sentiment continues and the market collapses, don't worry about your shares, worry about the world.
It won't happen, there are too many very heavy vested interests ensuring this.It's just a big game and if you've not got the stamina or patience then it's not for you.
Worries about economies etc are just an excuse for extracting more of your money, a policy used by successive Chancellors with tax policy.
So my feeling, in answer to the question, is, if you can't beat them....
