MF Global Spreads

Thinking of opening an account with these guys but can't find any info feedback on them here or anywhere. Seem to keep a low profile and have a somewhat limited product offering, I know their non SB side is massive. Would be grateful to hear views of any past or current account holders.

Their CFD business is indeed huge and is based on their DMA platform. It seems to me they are now tapping into the SB side to take on retail punters' trade.

Have you traded SB before? If no, I'd recommend a well known firm with a good client education programme. I suspect Man's SB is for larger semi-professional clients and their min size would be quite large?

one of the main problems with these guys is that they didn't hesitate to grossly increase margin requirements when the crisis hit - imagine you are in a few spread bet positions and your spread betting company doubles the margin insisting that you fork the money overnight... they made themselves very unpopular that day and lost loads of clients as did cantor.
