Hi, is there tool that will alow me to draw a controled line, I now about the horisontal vertical and diagnal line which is available at the top tool bar.

I want to be able to click my mouse at one point and then click at second point and have a line draw to those 2 points. Or even a pencil tool

If it is just a straight line between two points, use the diagonal line symbol, put the target point on the chart, left click and keep pressed down, use mouse to point the line in any direction.

The problem with the diagonal line is, it carries on i want to mark 1 point to another

Left click and hold on the first point; when you get to the spot you want to connect to, take your finger off the left click.

i have tried what you have said left click from one point the line goes beyond the point.

maybe Mt4 is setup different

Try rhis:

Doubleclick the trendline to put it in edit mode. When in edit mode, right click the line and from the dropdown menu select "Trendline Properties" (first option).

You should get a popup form with three tabs, select the tab named "Parameter". Uncheck the box labeled "ray".
