Mcvities biscuits and cakes :-)

Was having tea with a yummy mcvities cake ("lunchers")

So yummy that I desperately want to buy mcvities company stock first thing tomorrow
morning.

So... I tried searching the internet to find which company owns that brand.

Its called as "United Biscuits" - however I can't find it listed anywhere (using yahoo finance).

Would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on where/how to nail this ?!

They were bought by Blackstone group in December 2006 hence no stock market listing. I agree they make some fantastic biscuits. Although rumour has it they may also make your supermarket own label stuff too.

Used to be quoted UBIS.L was the code, no use now i know, just remembered that and wanted to share it.

Maybe buy some premier foods instead, i think they own Mr kiplings and he makes exceedingly good cakes!
