I think its crazy when this happens, below is a vid of a recent market crash.. people were
flabbergasted, there was a 560point drop in Dow in 4 minutes and over the space of about
15 minutes there was just under a 1000pt drop, there was one Share that was down -25%
in a matter of minutes but bounced back to -1% in a few mins and people argue about it.

Its an interesting vid below with peoples views, whenever i see things like this happen i
can't help but think how ridiculously unstable certain markets are which is good and bad.

They've supposedly put in circuit breakers now for 10% in stocks but not so sure what they have done on the UK and European exchanges.
There's also this little note:

I had a serious issue with MM's 1st hand.. two days before the Bank Of Ireland got the €90 Billion bailout i went long, i closed my position 4k+ in profit... there was still masses of positivity so i went long again, all of a sudden it started to drop like a hot stone, there were rumours of Nationalisation and i lost a few grand (at the precise time it was bullsh!t)... Turns out from a reliable source that Market Manipulators or The Mafia as i like to call them, spread the rumour all over the place, to short BKIR and then go long again when it was confirmed as bullsh!t.

The way I see it, the markets should be left to move on there own. The fact that there are price drop 'circuit breakers' does not help, because that keeps the market higher than it's natural found price.
..So the fact that markets can drop -25% in a flash is not nessesarily bad, because we don't know the real value.
The real value on the Dow could be 3,000

The problem is that the general public doesn’t understand anything other than buy and hold. This is why the majority think that property is a great investment. The Government, wishing to please its voting public ,tries to ensure that they (The public) are right and that bull markets continue in perpetuity, hence low interest rates, stimulus, Government guaranteed loans, Q.E n² etc...Otherwise known as Keynesian economics.

The docile, compliant, clueless presstitutes(as one analyst calls them) on mainstream media report stock market crashes as ‘bad’ news because it is inconceivable to them that anyone would make money out of a falling market. That’s why short sellers are portrayed as a scourge on society. People just want things to keep going up in value unless of course it is food and energy...people:rolleyes:
