Hello,

It is supposed to be a fair game while trading the YM emini , because its following the Dow, but in every analysis i make i come to the conclusion that ripoff is one of the principles governing the market.

Of course i have no number to backup my claim, but i can see how most of the time, more than 80% of the traders loose. Of course the ones who win, are a few, and seem pretty consistent. Is it really that difficult to manipulate the Dow ? Considering the bonuses of Wall Street heads for January is 20 billion dollars ?

Thanks,
Ulises

You really need to be more specific in your claims. It isn't market manipulation to squeeze you.

There is a simple reason for why you feel this way, you enter at a price that is not ideal and your entries are most likely bad. So when price goes agaisnt you , you think someone is squezzing you.

Look at the market from a supply and demand view and you will no longer be feeling that way.Just work on your entries, and the reason +80% loose is because most dont get their entries correct...and thats pretty much it. There is no one out there to get you, its just simple suppply and demand rules at work.

And the previouse poster mentioned, you need to be more precise, we cant read your mind.

Well if it is a fair game they won't let you play in the first place

Jokes aside, consider this: think about casinos, they have pre-calculated all risks so that in the long run they make money. And casinos do make money! It's really an unfair game!

However, there are also professional gamblers who make money consistently from this supposedly unfair game. Isn't that counter-intuitive?

You get my point?

I believe that the market makers really manipulate the market sometimes, but even then there are still trades who trade the DOW successfully. It is your job to let the odds be swinged into your favour, not the casino/market. And if you can't make money in the end, it will only be your problem.
