MACD formula - Use it if i only know the time & price of the quote?

Can i use macd if i use Microsoft excel and i only know the time & price of the quote?

Do you se the blue/grey tiny sticks(not the blue line)? That's i mean. Can i then these sticks if i only know the price and the time of the stockquotes?
