Hi all,

Do any of you have an indicator for MT4 which alerts you when a moving average is touched by price?

I’d like to set this up so it will email me when the condition is met as I don’t have time to monitor charts all day when I am at my 9-5?

i know there are ema cross alerts but havent found a price hit one although i might mess around with the cross code.

Hi,

Feel free to use this indicator, I hope it will work well. I did not test it on moving market :innocent: but if there is a bug, I will fix it at Monday.

it offers:

* configurable sound alert
* email alert
* arrows on chart

That's all, pretty simple indicator.

would it be possible to adapt this indicator so that arrow appeared only if price closed above user defined MA and for the MA parameters to include shift facility
