Hello t2w,

Im new to the trading world and im basicly looking for a mentor that can introduce me a bit to the trading world.
Mostly someone that can teach me about the money management aspect of the trading.

Im interested in forex but placing the orders and knowing how much to put is something im still stuck with so if anyone would like to help me out,its probably only a few hours and after that I can (hopefully) work my way up on my own.

Also I dont have anything to offer moneywise,at least not a big amount if the person really wants money for it.
I know its a slim chance but if I didnt try I would never know so might as well try it.

Hopefully this is in the right place and im allowed to post such a question with only 2 posts (im more a reader/observer than a poster so thats why I only got 2 posts).

Wow!

Hello,

I have indeed contacted Trader Dante but his group is currently full so im not able to get any mentorship from him for a while.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Nannook,

There's plenty of experts on T2W. Just ask the questions (try to be specific).

Grant.

hi,

perhaps i can point you and others like you in a direction that can help.

for a couple years now i've been recieving emails with lots of trading advice, videos and more from a former fund manager that blew up and has since turned his trading around and is using a system that he originally developed for bank traders. i have never subscribed to any of his paid services, but have recieved valuable info from him like money management, proper use of leverage, etc

he and another trader have started a "club" in which they will share info that has been learned over many years of trading (incl some impromptu live trade videos). i personally opted in for the "early bird notice" of the club opening and have joined. i think it is a good investment to pick up ideas and such from others. here is the link to join, but if anyone considers it spam just do not click the link!

before anyone asks, no i do not get anything from them

You may or may not be a spammer but that service is a scam. It has 'SCAM' written all over it.

I can't be arsed to cut and paste all the scammy stuff.

a former fund manager

How do you know he was a former fund manager

i was wanting to help someone asking for help with that post, it never crossed my mind that that trying to help i would upset people. i almost wish i had never posted. i can certainly appreciate the negative points of view that have been expressed thus far. hopefully i can answer the negativity without being negative. if i do not, please accept my apology.

as to him being a "former fund manager" the only knowledge that i have to offer as proof is his word, his understanding of the total concepts of trading as exhibited thru his many emails, extensive knowledge and use of technical analysis as exhibited in his videos that exceeds some pros that i know, and finally his ability to impart his knowledge without a lot of bs. if you are asking if i can prove it in a court of law, then the answer is no! ....no more than anyone with a large number of posts on a public forum can prove that they are a more capable trader than someone with considerably fewer posts.

as to whether this is "BS" or a scam, that is for each person to make that decision. my thoughts are simply the yearly membership works out to less than a daily cup of coffee @ Mickey D's, if someone can not afford that then should they really be trading? ... lastly, it does come with a guarantee and clickbank is pretty good about refunds from my experience

as to "cut & pasting that scammy stuff", i can not make a judgement like that quickly...perhaps that is why i am not any good @ scalping. perhaps the poster missed the point that all of the "scammy stuff" is the icing not the cake. i think the bigger picture is the ability to look over the shoulder of other traders, listen to their thought processes, and how they deal with the curveballs that the markets throw at them is extremely valuable. the ability to discuss that and more with other traders from a common frame of reference...the ability to see someone else's S&R levels, directional bias, etc and compare that to yours...what is the value of all of that?

what if through all of this info & sharing a single nugget of wisdom is picked up that results in pulling 1 more pip per day out of the market? that would be about 300 pips per year or about $3k USD ...in other words a R/R of 1:10....sounds pretty good to me..... someone on another thread stated that time lost is more important than money and i agree with that statement, but that is the risk portion of the risk / reward imo

if any of you previous posters can offer an alternative that has the possibilities PLEASE state so...heck i'm willing to do a look see.

BTW...rathcoole's suggestion of trader dante's thread is excellent, i have been reading it as time permits

What the hell is this Post all about?
You lost me after the first line!

The court says:

"Unless restrained...defendant is likely to continue and engage in the acts and practices alleged in this Complaint..."

I'm not going to take any side, but if one really wants to asses Mr. de Wet's service it's very easy like 1-2-3.
1. Purchase the service.
2. Look what is inside.
3. If not happy, claim the money back from Clickbank - they keep the money for 8 weeks so it's not a big problem for them to give it back to you. (that's why all merchants around offer the same 8 weeks money back guarantee - in reality this is Clickbank's guarantee).
As for Mr. de Wet's G7 System which is part of the package - I think many people here (or on another FX forum, don't remember atm) are quite happy with this.
I'm not saying it's a good product (I don't know it), but assesing something without actually seeing it, is not I'd endorse.
So, can anyone who has actually purchased this service share his/her opinions?
