I've been trading FX and Futures for a while now, I am gonna be visiting the London Investor Show in Kensington this friday so love to hook up with a few members there. I Keep getting offers from these guys , to the point of harrassment. http://www.win****.com/
Are these guys worth a visit, they did say they would grant me a free ticket to their seminar.

Stay well clear of them, Winters is infamous.

Is there anyone actually worth talking to at these shows? Everything I get from this forum is negative. Are the people on here just too heavenly bodied to recommend anything other than themselves?

There is nobody worth talking to at that show.

Look at the website again and ask yourself if any part of you thinks it is at all genuine or feasible.... you know you don't need confirmation from us when you see websites with multi-coloured bold 'quotes' from satisfied customers and incessant hyperbole about what you can achieve.

In what other industries are legitimate products sold in this way...?

Here is your man:

Yet he still apparently wants to pedal sh*t to you despite being super rich. Taking a look at the abbreviated accounts of The Wealth Trading Company LLP (the parent of this clusterf*ck) I can see why they bother at all. £500,000 of trade debtors in 2012 - now I'm not sure what sort of terms the education wing of this most dubious of industries offer, but I assume these typically fall due in 90 days or so, so you could be talking about a turnover of 2.5m just from teaching basic support and resistance and a bit of psychology (this is what they all do, via bottom tier speakers who never saw a spot bonus or trading floor in their lives) through multiple awful skin websites. Not bad eh?

And I promise you not one of their clients is a 'success' in the markets. At most they made a few quid on their retirement money, while everyone else lost.

I hate this planet.

All the people you want to talk to are in their offices in front of their screens trading, making money.

The only people at these shows are educators, selling courses, or sales people selling funds or investments, however their focus will be on their commissions, not your financial health.

They are there to make money from you, not for you.

Well said mate. Truly agree with you. Typical marketers
