large movements

In one of those moments of boredom today, I have been lookin back over daily spot cable charts, and there just doesn't seem to be the volitility and large moves that there used to be. I've not looked through any other pairs, not sure if it's the same scenario?

The last three months of 2004 and further back see's moves of up to 300 points in one day and regular moves over 150 but of late it just seems to be, well, dull. Don't get me wrong, I 'm all happy with what I still make and there are plenty of large moves, they just seem to be intercepted with more lacklustre days.

Is it just me or the time of year or something else entirely!?

volatility comes and goes from all instruments.. for example, the dow was dead as a dodo for long bits in 03/04, now the volatility seems to be returning to that..

need to diversify in order for it not to hurt.

Finally we saw a large movement on Friday

last couple of days have picked up a bit, be nice to see some more consistent large intra day movements... anything under 100 pips is a bit dull!!!!!!
