Is anybody making any headway with LIFFE's Ombudsman over the illegal June 05 expiry debacle? At the time there were 96 posts on this site on this issue and I did have some e-mail correspondence with a few complainants. What we are trying to do is either force LIFFE to accept their unlawfulness or, with reluctance, start a Class Action. If this is the way forward then I understand that proceedings must be lodged within 6 years for the Court to recognise it otherwise English Law precludes any further action - maybe this is way LIFFE/their Ombudsman is dragging the matter out for a long as possible?? I am meeting possibly the largest complainant today - in excess of another complainant whose loss was £18m (!) The stakes are way out of my league, but if I can get my two pennyworth + interest, it will have been worth the grind. Any others still trying?
