Hi There,
First of all I am very happy that I have found this forum. Its a bit of like finding a needle in hay stack. Its all great info here for someone who about to start trading:clap:
Now...I have been going through loads of ebooks recently regarding trading phenomena and my brain is minced now to the degree that cant be reversible...I guess
Anyway I think its good time to start trading since we coming out of recession (so Darling says:cheesy:). Because I don't really know what to do at this point i am thinking to invest in Swing Trading. I got £20K which I am thinking to put on Apple stocks for few months (whats do you think about that ?). In mean time I want to do some daily swings but because of my limited knowledge I am thinking to use service like on stocknod. Can they be trusted? Has anyone tried similar service etc? Is it worth it?
Personally I would love to get myself into Spread betting but it scares the **** :whistling out of me at this point. I got demo account with Barclays and I have lost £2K in one week:innocent: But then Its suits my personality; I can't be bothered to wait few days for results. I know I need few years to be that advance to do SB.
One more question; once you gain some profits from shares which you own and sell them what type of tax in UK you expected to pay? How does it work?
Well I got few more questions down in line but for now stocknod or not?
Thanks in advance.

No, it really isn't. You will not find the information you seek on the Internet.

You hit the nail on the head, although you do not realise it. You are being corrupted with mainstream nonsense by reading trading books. They are written by people who are not traders but authors. They do not make their living trading, but by selling books to people who also cannot trade. If you knew how to predict the markets, would you publish this knowledge for pennies when the people who read it could simply copy your trades and taking the money out of your pocket?

Anyway I think its good time to start trading since we coming out of recession (so Darling says:cheesy:).

I hope you are joking. In all seriousness if you are the sort of person who takes political spin as gospel and actually base important personal decisions on such rubbish you will not succeed in trading.

Admit you do not know what you are doing and do not be "investing" in anything until you do.

You are gambling and will lose your money.

So because you cannot do it you are going to pay somebody to do it for you, to exonerate you from doing the work? If you delegate responsibility you deserve everything you get. Why not just put your money in a mutual fund and "invest" like the rest of the sheeple?

I am pleased this is only a demo account. Well done. You may be surprised how many people open a real account without a clue and lose several thousand before coming to their senses.

You should not be considering trading at all. You are not suitable. You show this by your attitude.

If you ever make any profits then I'm sure it will not be a burden to work this out for yourself. Until then, why not concentrate on learning how to make the profit. Cart and horse. If you are successful, tax will be a minor nuisance.

Not.

Thanks in advance.

I hope and expect this satisfies your queries.
