is it not better to trade cfds on deal 4 free as the spreads are the same as other brokers but theres no stamp duty or commission to pay.
i know theres interest to pay but from what ive worked out as long as you sell within 28 days its cheaper than trading a cash account with a regular broker.
any views would be appreciated

I agree entirely. I would only use a broker if I was going to hold for an eternity - maybe 1 year + :cheesy:

Spreadbetting was always designed for medium to long term trading, the problems come when you try to scalp points which there not designed for, even though they are getting better.
