In what way do IBs train their new traders ? ?

HI ,

I have seen many times on IB's website that they will be offering the graduate scheme like "trading-commodities, Forex, Equities, etc. " What can we actually expect to get out of it ?

I have no idea how the investment banks teach their new hires, do they spend more time teaching how to do the technical analysis in trading than teaching how to execute the trades that act best on behalf of their clients, which is more focus on the knowledge in financial products itself ?

This is a question that has confused me for a long time, yet I am still struggling to
find a definite answer.
