If I set up a company to trade through a spread better, will I have to pay tax?

1) A trade through tradestation is sent to an exchange with margin held at a clearing house
2) A trade with IG will be held against the price that IG quote you. It may or may not be offset in the underlying.
3) TAX! look at the title of the thread!

Fair enough my post was just aimed at joes comment of:

"Although spread betting is regarded as gambling as opposed to trading or investing."

In reality you are backing the same horse

if all you are interested in is "which way will the ftse go" and ur not talkin about granular trade horisons the prolly in the long run it makes no difference at all part from financing costs.

But that is not all there is to it.
