Hi Guys!
I've had on and off experience with stocks, and am not deciding to keep it boring n' simple, not of that fancy stuff.
Here I will attempt to trade using methods from the Trend Following Bible.
Every time I will have doubts and decide to do fancy stuff, the image below will keep me motivated.

CRNX HealthcareOPEN

To make Things interesting, I am testing a second method variant with a double MACD crossover ( on daily, weekly charts ), here is an ideal bearish example:

my first trade using this method is AIZ - weekly is not ideal but whatevs,
the scanner I found for MACD zero crossovers is here:

got stopped out of BIV with a loss of -63.00
looking back at the chart, I guess I should have expected this amount of whiplash

Added AAT @ 34.85 stop at 30.33 using the Double MACD strategy

------------------------------------

Closed AAT with a profit of +18$ , seems the trend was getting ready to revert to the SMA200 so I exited while I could

good thing I exited, it really went down as I predicted!

Entered AMGN @ 242.88, [email protected], take profit @ 253.95, strategy DailyWeeklyMACD

Closed AIZ with a loss of 22$, since I'm focusing more on the daily+weekly MACD and also that stock was looking like it was going to go down

Entered AIM @2.44, stop @1.91, take profit @2.81 with the Daily+Weekly MACD strategy
Slight divergence from my regular strategy since usually I trade 15$> stocks, this is closer to a penny stock but it's movements don't seem too unreasonable when using a wide enough stop

Looking back at the progress of BIV, which I shorted and got stopped out of, it ended up going down exactly as predicted - lessons learned: place stops after at least 2 "barriers" (2nd previous high/low, SMA, etc)

- as you can see it's a 1:1 profit/loss thing, setting my stop "loose" beyond 2 levels of major resistance, including the diagonal channel one and the horizontal one ( thick blue line)

weekly macd isn't perfect, but all else seems good

after an initial period where I was up around 600 usd, now down around 300.
I'm wondering if the weekly+daily macd works on shorter timeframes with tighter stops.
speaking of which, are people actually reading this stuff or am I talking to myself?

wow there is a lot going on here, so many oscillators lol I know a lot of traders use moving averages, but im my opinion these can give very delayed indications. quite often you would have missed a big chunk of the move before you recognised it.

I highly recommend simplifying your trading :)
