I'd call this a bit of a "Black Swan event" - not financial, but it may turn out to have financial repercussions.

Meanwhile what was the number 1 story on BBC 10 o'clock news?
Re-hashing those three political w@nkers boring the pants off everybody with their usual hot air.

What a tunch of bossers.

Makes you wonder how we get our Public Servants ... who's watching them? Who gives them this power to make these decisions? Who voted for whoever put them into those positions? Guess it comes back to us after all.

It all comes down to how politically active the average voter is. If we sit back and say nothing to our elected reps, then they will assume their actions are acceptable ... to the point of arrogance and sublimity.

While I am here, I have another post that should probably go on another thread, but there are a tunch alarmist bossers on the AGW thread, so will contribute it here for general interest. It seems that our current weather is cyclical after all. But ignore that - enjoy the doco.
